Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics ( STEM ). STEM education is an experiential learning pedagogy in which the application of knowledge and skills are integrated through in-context projects or problems focused on learning outcomes tied to the development of important college and career readiness proficiencies.

The British Curriculum is also known as the National Curriculum for England, and this system of education stresses creativity, critical thinking, and flexibility. Simultaneously, the British Curriculum includes a series of measurable and achievable goals, each designed to build on what went before while preparing the student for their future work.

With this understanding of both definition, STEM education solely depend on the British curriculum. so there’s no need for Africans to abandon the British curriculum for STEM education.

I believe STEM is the right way forward. The British curriculum makes students memorize many things they don’t need. STEM is more focused on equipping students with the skills to take up jobs in the 21st century.
